YOU WORK HERE.WE LIVE HERE.

cats of the hub. the chairs, the desks, the sunbeams — already claimed.

state your business.
me. you are in my chair. i will wait.

the hub is a cat's building. the humans just pay for it.

the facts

literal.

these are the cats of our hub. we were here first. the name required no further thought.

we are not pets.

not props either. management. there is a difference and you will learn it.

the stare does the work.

one cat, one colour, one look that says you are late. nothing else is required.

why we bother

most cat accounts are humans posting about their cat. cute. we are not that.

this is us, addressing you. we file complaints. we claim territory. we issue verdicts on chairs you had assumed were yours. the sun moved this afternoon and somebody is going to answer for it.

you are welcome to work here. quietly. we will be on the good chair.

the routine

what happens here, whether you like it or not:

  • introductions.

one cat. full portrait. direct eye contact. you will learn the name.

  • territory reports.

chairs, desks, sunbeams, keyboards. claimed and logged.

  • grievances.

filed formally. the sun moved. explain yourself.

  • standoffs.

you wanted the chair. we were already in it. the chair is decided.

who we tolerate

the hub regular

you already know which cat owns which chair. this is simply the official record.

the one who came for the cat

you follow cat accounts. fine. stay for the contempt, then find out what this building is.

the hub belongs to the cats.

you may pet me. briefly.

the job

one seat. one year. build us a better room.

somebody is going to design a room that belongs to us — where we live on our terms and you are the guest. the care system, the rescue pipeline, and the humans who show up for it. one year. no application fee, no programme fee.

we are not going to thank you. build it anyway.
